About Garo Undefeated
Garo Yepremian was the legendary placekicker of the 1972 "Perfect Season" Miami Dolphins, the only team in NFL history to win every game on their schedule. Garo Undefeated is a celebration of Garo's boundless and determined spirit, offering art created by Garo along with various other items inspired by his achievements.
Garo faced many obstacles in life, which he overcame in unique ways. From playing in the first football game he ever saw to being named to the NFL's All-Decade 1970's team by the Pro Football Hall of Fame committee, Garo always had a flair for the dramatic.
In 1998, Garo learned that a family member was afflicted with an inoperable brain tumor. Feeling helpless, Garo decided to channel his energy into something positive, and taught himself to paint. "Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and paint," he said. "I love bright colors and I love water... I'm hoping the paintings bring happiness to people."
Garo was diagnosed with high grade stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer in 2014. His prognosis was dire, but he never let it take away his positive outlook on life. Garo passed away in 2015.

GARO'S PAINTING METHODS
Garo created art through both traditional and non-traditional methods, working with oil and acrylic mediums. Some of his landscape and seascape works were painted with brushes, while others were painted using only a palette knife. Most of Garo's contemporary acrylic pieces were created without an application tool.
